Driver dies in tractor accident in Baitadi



BAITADI: One person has died in a tractor accident at Dogadakedar-3, Taral, Baitadi on Mahakali Highway.

According to Traffic Police Office Baitadi, Yogesh Pal, 23, of Dilasani-3 died in the tractor accident.

The deceased has been identified as CPN-UML Baitadi District Chairman Surendra Pal’s son. Yogesh died on the way to the district hospital in Baitadi.

Rakesh Koli of Dilasani-3 jumped out from the tractor and saved his life. He has minor injuries. The tractor has fallen 50 meters from the road.

The tractor had no formal number plate and had ‘On trial’ marked on the number plate.

The details of the incident are yet to come.
