NRB unveils public monetary policy (Live)

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is introducing monetary policy this afternoon after a delay of almost one month.

NRB Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari began presenting the monetary policy few minutes ago.

Despite the budget coming through the ordinance in the pre-determined time, the monetary policy was delayed due to the change of government.

NRB held a meeting of its Board of Directors earlier in the day. Monetary policy is likely to bring in programs to take further initiatives to prevent and control the coronavirus epidemic.
