Rapti Hospital receives four ventilators



RAPTI:  Rapti Provincial Hospital at Tulsipur has been provided with four ventilators.

The Gorkha Commentaries Trust in Hongkong provided the essential health supplies to the Hospital amid the ongoing second phase of COVID-19.

Trust’s Nepal President Mahendra Rai and CPN (UML) central member Sujita Shakya handed over the ventilators to the Hospital Development Committee today.

Rai shared that the Trust was going to provide 45 ventilators to various public healthcare facilities in Nepal. Shakya extended her gratitude for the crucial in-kind support and expressed her confidence that the recent support would be very useful for the Hospital.

The Hospital has set up Social Unit so as to provide medical care up to Rs 100,000 for free of cost to the targeted groups such as people with disabilities, gender-based violence survivors, disaster-hit survivors, senior citizens, detainees, marginalized communities among others.
