NEPSE increases by 10.13 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 10.13 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2684.01 points.

A total of 21.90 million shares of 218 companies were traded today resulting in a turnover of 7.12 billion.

The share price of 13 companies including Samata Domestic Microfinance and Divyashwori Hydro has started a positive circuit.

Today, the group index of 9 sectors including finance, development bank, hydropower has increased while the group index of 4 sectors including investment and trading has decreased.

The highest increase in the index was in the finance sector at 4.68 percent. The highest turnover of Rs 494 million was recorded in Nepal Reinsurance Company and Rs 256.7 million in National Hydropower Company.
