Election schedule essential for political stability: Chairman Thapa

MAKWANPUR: Chairperson of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, Kamal Thapa, said the federal government needs to immediately announce the election schedule in order to ensure peace and security to the people and political stability in the country.

Addressing the first municipal council of the party in Makwanpur on Saturday, Chairperson Thapa reiterated that the election schedule should be brought with new thoughts and vision.

The people had voted for Nepal Communist Party to ensure good governance and economic prosperity in the country but it was dampened after the intraparty feud, he reminded, arguing that the dispute further jeopardized parliamentary democracy.

According to him, the major opposition Nepal Congress was engrossed in changing government rather than contributing to national prosperity.

The RPP was working actively to protect the Sanatan Hindu religion because the country was witnessing anarchy and violence.

Central member Madhu Adhikari viewed that the country witnessed such a difficult time because the political parties failed to embrace democratic values.

Other speakers said the party would reach people’s doorstep to strengthen party organization. RSS
