US repatriates eight Nepalis



KATHMANDU: The United States has chartered a plane and repatriated eight Nepalis who arrived in the United States illegally.

They were dropped off by a plane carrying US security personnel at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

Suresh KC, Rajesh Karki, Praveen Giri, Pasang Sherpa, Dal Bahadur Sunuwar, Divash Basnet, Narayan KC and Dawa Lama have been deported to Nepal.

They have been sent home after general interrogation.
