Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 1,937 with five new fatalities



KATHMANDU: As many as five COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,937 as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the country recorded a total of 445 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,66,143 in the country as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 4,434 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 414 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,59,772 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, five persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1937.
