KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader and contestant for the post of General Secretary in the ongoing 14th General Convention of the party Gagan Thapa has remarked that Senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel deserves, for his great contribution and sacrifice, a high status like Ganesh Man Singh.
After announcing his candidature for the post of General Secretary on Saturday, Thapa said, “Like the special reverend place for Ganesh Man, Poudel also deserves a special position in the party.”
He added that despite some instances of failures, senior leader Poudel holds a high place in the party for his dedication and ideals.
“Whether he rejoins the active party politics or not, he has already created his value in NC, none can undermine his contributions,” leader Thapa said.
