Ruling alliance to come up with common stand on judiciary: Maoist Chair Prachanda

BHOJPUR: Chairperson of CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the ruling alliance of five parties would come up with common stand soon on present dispute in judiciary.

Chairperson Dahal said it during an orientation the party organized for its senior cadres and active leaders in Bhojpur district on Friday. “It is not good to have judiciary, an esteemed and independent institution, in such controversy,” he said, adding that it would be better to have solution from within the court itself.

The Maoist chairperson, however, vowed to make public the common view of the ruling alliance very soon.

According to him, the five-party alliance could run even after the coming elections. Although the local level election is slated for March/April, it can be changed for six month before or after the schedule.

Dahal opined that if the three-tier elections are held all at once, it would help save State treasury.

He viewed that the eastern region of Nepal is the fertile land of communists.
