16 injured in Dadeldhura bus accident

KAILALHI:  Sixteen people sustained injuries in a bus accident at Amargadhi municipality-10 near Rai Bazaar in Dadeldhura district.

The injured are six women and two children and eight men, said District Police Office, Dadeldhura.

The passenger bus, Na 7 Kha 174, was heading to Bajura carrying passengers from Dhangadhi. The accident occurred due to a brake failure, said DSP Mahendra Nepal this morning.

Around 60 passengers were traveling in the bus. The injured are receiving treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital, said police.
