One killed, nine injured in Okhaldhunga jeep accident



OKHALDHUNGA: One person was killed and nine injured in a jeep accident at Hilepani of Manebhanjyang -6 on Sunday.

According to Okhaldunga Police, Prithvi Bahadur Shrestha, 40, of Bara died on the spot in the accident.

There were 10 people including the driver in the jeep. One of them was killed and nine others were injured, police said.

The jeep (Ba 11 Cha 5210) heading to Kathmandu from Nishankhe of Siddhicharan Municipality-2 had fallen 50 meters from the road.

According to the police, the condition of four of the injured, including an infant, is critical.

The administration is arranging to airlift the critically injured to Kathmandu.
