Budhanilkantha-based schools start classes in persons

KATHMANDU: Schools in Budhanilkantha Municipality in Kathmandu have started classes with a physical presence in classrooms.

The schools agreed to resume classes in person following the decision of the local government.

The Municipality has appealed to all stakeholders concerned to follow all recommended health protocols against COVID-19 infection.

Schools here had switched to online classes for months bearing in mind the increased risk of COVID-19.

The local government is to provide a free antigen screening kit if anyone in schools shows the symptoms of COVID-19.

More, schools will be monitored to find out whether they have adopted health safety measures recommended by the government during the school operation hours, the municipality said.
