Nepal records 2,370 new COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 433 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,370 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,690 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 680 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 289 persons in Kathmandu, 90 in Lalitpur, and 54 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 433 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 18 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,133 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
