PM Oli supporters protest against SC verdict to reinstate HoR

KATHMANDU: Pro-government youths have taken to street against the Supreme Court’s Monday decision that foiled Prime Minister KP Oli’s attempt to dissolve the parliament for the second time.

In its second verdict to reinstate the HoR, SC declared the government’s recommendation for the dissolution of the parliament as unconstitutional and also against the interpretation SC made on February 23.

Earlier, PM Oli had called the party’s grassroots organization a few days ago and instructed them to be ready for the agitation.

Abiding by the directions of the prime minister, the youth organizations including CPN-UML Oli faction supporter Nepal Sports Federation and National Youth Federation Nepal have organized a demonstration against the Supreme Court decision.

Pro-government youths had organized a rally in support of PM Oli on Sunday afternoon as well.
