NC lauds SC decision; Deuba calls office bearers’ meeting



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision to reinstate the House of Representatives.

NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma said that the SC’s decision was prudent and that the party would welcome the decision.

“The president has justified the prime minister’s imprudent move,” he said.

Spokesperson Sharma said that a new government led by NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba would be formed.

According to him, Deuba has called a meeting of the party’s office-bearers at his residence in Budhanilakantha this afternoon to discuss the party’s future move.
