NC delays general convention schedule by 9 days



KATHMANDU:  Nepali Congress (NC) has delayed the schedule of its 14th general convention by nine days.

According to NC sources, the meeting of NC office-bearers’ held on Saturday at party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha decided to reschedule the general convention date so as to make it take place on September 1 to 4.

“The office bearer’s meeting held today decided to reschedule the general convention date and fixed it on September 1 to 4, in Kathmandu,” one of the office-bearers said after the meeting.

Earlier, NC’s 14th general convention was scheduled for August 23-26.
