Coronavirus infection coming down in Udayapur



UDAYPUR: Corona Virus infection that had spiraled since the last week of April has now gradually come down in Udayapur district.

As of the first week of June, the number of infections has decreased significantly, according to the Health Office, Udayapur.

Triyuga municipality had recorded the highest number of infections. The number has now come from a high of 535 to 290, chief of the office, Mohan Subedi said.

In Katari municipality, the number of COVID-19 cases had reached 117, and it now stands at 45. It Rautamai rural municipality it is 29 from 76, and 24 from 64 in Limchungbung rural municipality.

A similar decline has been observed in other local level units as well. The number of recoveries is also increasing in the eight local units in the district.

So far, 47 people have died due to Corona Virus in the district.

Meanwhile, the District Administration Office, Udayapur has increased the prohibitory order until June 21. Shops for daily essentials are allowed to open from 7 to 12 in the morning.
