Our resignation a must to oust PM Oli: UML leader Rawal

KATHMANDU: Lawmaker of the disgruntled faction of the CPN-UML Bhim Rawal has said extraordinary steps are needed to resolve the existing extraordinary problems.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Rawal said it is necessary to oust Prime Minister KP Oli to prevent him from taking steps against party statute and democracy by resigning from the post of lawmakers.

“Our resignation from the Parliament is one way that we can oust PM Oli,” he has said.

“It is necessary to oust PM Oli to stop him from further moves against the national interest, party statute and democracy,” he added.

Lawmakers of the Nepal-Khanal faction of the party had on Monday threatened to resign.

However, they preferred to abstain from the House when Prime Minister Oli was seeking a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on Monday.
