NC leader Pokhrel submits claim for new government in Gandaki



POKHARA: Claiming a way out for the ongoing political turmoil in Gandaki Province, four parties have submitted a letter to the Governor’s office proposing a new Chief Minister from Nepali Congress (NC).

According to sources, Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, Rastriya Janamorcha and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) reached at province head Sita Poudel’s office proposing Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel of NC as the chief ministerial candidate.

Earlier, Province and handing over a letter to state chief Sita Poudel.

The three-day deadline given by governor Poudel ended at 4 pm this afternoon.
