Karnali CM Shahi appoints two new Ministers Wednesday

BIRENDRANAGAR: Karnali Province Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has appointed two ministers after a long period of internal tension in the ruling alliance.

According to CM Shahi’s secretariat, Gopal Sharma from Rukum West and Bindaman Bista from Surkhet West, have been appointed as Ministers by CM Shahi.

They are likely to be appointed as Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning and Minister of Internal Affairs and Law.

CM Shahi has already accepted the resignation of Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning Bimala KC and Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Naresh Bisht.

The CM’s office is coordinating with the Province Governor’s office for the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed Ministers, the source added.
