COVID-19: Nepal records 496 fresh cases, tally hits 2,80,524



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 496 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,80,524 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

As per the ministry, 496 persons have been tested positive through the RT-PCR method while 63 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that currently, the country has reported 3,306 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 138 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,74,165 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, the ministry shared that 13 new fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 3053.
