NEPSE increases by 17.20 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 17.20 points on Monday.

With today’s increment, the Nepse index has reached 2691.55 points.

A total of 138.21 million shares of 216 companies have been bought and sold today, resulting in a turnover of over Rs 7.61 billion.

Out of 13 groups, the indexes of seven groups including microfinance, bank, development bank, and non-life insurance have increased, while the remaining six groups have turned red.

Shares of NIC Asia Microfinance and Women’s Microfinance have increased today, while the prices of five companies have risen. NIC Asia Bank topped the list with a turnover of over Rs 250 million.

Similarly, Nabil Bank had a turnover of Rs 244.2 million, NIFRA made a turnover of Rs 220 million and Nepal Bank made a turnover of Rs 212.8 million.
