Three succumb to coronavirus in Butwal COVID-19 Hospital



BUTWAL: Three persons have died while undergoing treatment at the COVID-19 Special Temporary Hospital in Butwal.

The deceased have been identified as a 71-year-old woman of Tilotta Municipality-1 and a 79-year-old woman of Arghakhanchi Malarani-5 and a man of Kapilvastu Banganga Municipality-3.

All three died at different times on Monday morning. A woman from Tilottama was admitted to the hospital on April 9 after being diagnosed with coronavirus infection.

She died at 7:27 am today, Bishnu Gautam, spokesman for Lumbini Provincial Hospital said. He said she had a fever, asthma, and pneumonia.

Similarly, a woman from Arghakhanchi was admitted to the hospital on April 9 after being diagnosed with coronavirus infection, said spokesperson Gautam. She died at 9:50 am today. She also has fever, asthma, and pneumonia, Gautam said.

Likewise, COVID-19 infected man was also admitted to the hospital on the same day. He died at 7:14 am on Monday.
