Senior journalist Sharma passes away

KATHMANDU: Senior journalist Sushil Sharma passed away on Friday. He was 63.

According to family sources, he passed away while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital in Chabahil on Friday.

He was suffering from pancreatic cancer for a long time.

Journalist Sharma worked with the BBC Nepali service for more than 15 years. He had resigned from BBC in 2011.

He is survived by wife and a son. His last rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat Friday.
