HoR dissolved after attempts made to dethrone PM suddenly: Minister Rayamajhi

BUTWAL: Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has said that the House of Representatives (HoR) was dissolved after attempts were made within the ruling party to remove the Prime Minister suddenly.

Inaugurating the provincial assembly organized by the Press Organization Nepal Lumbini Provincial Committee in Butwal on Friday, Minister Rayamajhi accused the Prachanda-Nepal faction of violating an agreement to decide on consensus as per the mandate of the party unity.

Saying that leaders of the own party tried to ‘attack’ the Prime Minister by joining hands with opposition parties, Minister Rayamajhi remarked that the faction is now in the streets due to their such ‘wrong’ activities.

Objecting to the ‘rumors spread by the Prachanda-Nepal faction’ that some ministers in the government were joining their faction, Standing Committee member Rayamajhi urged leaders and cadres not to get confused.
