‘Brushing teeth’ protest staged against HoR dissolution



KATHMANDU: Bibeksheel Party came out with the strange protest against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) by brushing their teeth in the procession on Tuesday.

Bibeksheel Party cadres and supporters came out with the placards displaying ‘Repeal the dissolution of HoR’ and protested against the government by brushing their teeth at Maitighar Mandala.

After the President dissolved the parliament on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Oli, Bibeksheel Party has been protesting in different constructive ways.

The protesters were sarcastic against PM Oli’s spitting on the rostrum during the address in the National Assembly and were holding the placard saying ‘Let’s not spit in public, Act like a civilized being!’.
