One killed in motorbike-tipper collision

HETAUDA:  An 18 year old youth has died when a tipper collided with a motorbike at Hetauda-5, Champa Danda on Monday evening.

According to Makwanpur Police, Ashish Shiv Bhakti, 18, of Hetauda-6, Chaughada died on the spot when his bike collided with the tipper coming from the opposite direction at Champa Danda.

A motorcycle, Pradesh 3, 03-001 Pa 4020, collided with the tipper, Na 1 Ka 8333, coming from Hetauda and heading towards Chaughada, resulting in death of Ashish, the bike rider at around 5 pm on Monday.

Niraj Rai 18, the pillion rider, who sustained critical injuries in the accident, is undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital, Hetauda.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the tipper driver into police custody.
