Leader Singh files nomination for NC president; Sujata Koirala for vice-president

Bishwa Prakash Sharma files candidacy for general secretary's post



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leaders Prakash Man Singh and Sujata Koirala have filed their candidacies for the post of president and vice-president respectively in the ongoing 14th general convention of the party on Saturday afternoon.

Leader Singh had declared his candidacy for the NC presidency earlier.  After filing nominations, the two leaders urged delegates and cadres to vote for them.

Along with Singh and Koirala, NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma also filed candidacy for the post of General Secretary.

Earlier, leader Kalyan Gurung registered his candidature for the post of NC president.
