General Secretary’s aspirant NC Spokesperson Sharma joins leader Singh’s panel

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma, who has announced his candidature for the post of General Secretary in the 14th General Convention of the party, and was not included in both the party establishment faction led by party President Sher Bahadur Deuba and non-establishment faction led by Dr. Shekhar Koirala has finally joined leader Prakash Man Singh’s panel.

Spokesperson Sharma, who was expected to be the general secretary candidate from the party establishment faction was denied the post in last hour. After failing to join Deuba’s panel, he was expected to be included in Dr. Koirala’s panel.

However, as no panel’s of his choice showed any interest in including him, the NC Spokesperson has finally chosen leader Prakash Man Singh’s panel. Sharma is contesting for the post General Secretary from Singh’s panel.
