NC leader Gurung registers nomination for presidency



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) central working committee member (CWC) and leader Kalyan Gurung has filed his nomination for the post of president.

Gurung registered his nomination for the post at 10:28 am becoming the first leader to file the nomination.

Organizing a press meet, invited CWC member Gurung had earlier announced his candidacy for the post of president.

Gurung had been elected as the president of Nepal Student Union following the split of NC.

The nomination process which began at 10 am will last until pm today.
