KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda is inaugurating province convention of the party today.
Chairman Prachanda will virtually inaugurate the province convention in 10 provinces — seven geographical and three non-geographical – at 1 pm virtually.
In-person convention of Pradesh 1 will be held at Biratnagar, while that of Province 2 and Bagmati will be held in Janakpur and Kathmandu, respectively.
Similarly, the conventions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim will be held in Pokhara, Baluwang, Surkhet and Dhangadhi, respectively.
Besides seven geographical province committees, the Maoist Center has formed special valley, liaison coordination and international province committees.
Maoist Center is holding its general convention from December 26 to 28.
