VP Pun participates in National Census by providing family, personal details



KATHMANDU: With the commencement of the 12th National Census, the family and personal details of Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun have been collected today.

Member and secretary of National Planning Commission and office-bearers of Central Bureau of Statistics reached Lainchour-based ‘Haritgriha’, the Vice President’s official residence, and collected the details.

Commission member Dr Ram Kumar Phunyal, Secretary Kebal Prasad Bhandari, Director General of the Bureau, Nebin Lal Shrestha, and directors—Hemraj Regmi, Dilliraj Joshi, and Dhundiraj Lamichhane reached the official residence of the Vice President.

Director General Shrestha and enumerators had collected the Vice President’s family and personal details. After providing family and personal details to enumerators, Vice President Pun wished for the success of the National Population Census 2021.

On the occasion, NPC’s member Phunyal thanked Vice President Pun for providing details by participating in the National Census.

Similarly, NPC’s Secretary Bhandari briefed the Vice President about the Census and its impact in every sector. The 15-day National Census was kicked off under the slogan “My Census, My Participation”. —
