UML leaders inspect General Convention site in Chitwan



KATHMANDU: Top leaders of the CPN-UML have visited the venue of the party’s 10th general convention to be held in Chitwan from November 26 to 28.

UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, Standing Committee Member Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’, UML Spokesperson Pradip Gyawali, central office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, leaders Surendra Pandey, Shankar Pokharel, Bishnu Rimal and other leaders inspected the convention’s venues on Thursday where inauguration and closed sessions are to take place.

The leaders inspected the Narayani River bank area where the inauguration will take place and reached Bagmara in Sauraha, where closed sessions are to happen.

There will be 1,999 delegates from all over the country in the UML’s 10th General Convention.

Talking to the media, General Secretary Pokharel said that they had come to Chitwan to inspect the convention site and make necessary preparations. He informed that discussions would be held after the on-site inspection and preparations would be made accordingly.
