Health Minister Khatiwada inspects Hetauda Hospital

KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada on Monday inspected the Hetauda Hospital run by Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences.

Minister Khatiwada visited ICU ward and COVID-19 ward of the hospital where he pledged to help in the best possible way from his side to upgrade and expand the services of the hospital. He also assured the officials, doctors and health workers of the hospital to work with confidence, adding that their jobs won’t be curtailed despite the fear among the officials about their job after the Academy took over the hospital.

During the event, the hospital also welcomed and honored Minister Khatiwada.

Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Ram Chandra Sapkota, briefed about the status of the hospital and the efforts carried out to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
