Eight killed in Ghandruk jeep accident



POKHARA: Eight people have been killed in a jeep accident at Ghandruk in Kaski district.

The travellers who succumbed to injuries died on the way to the hospital.

The dead are yet to be identified.

There were 9 passengers in the jeep.

One woman managed to escape by getting stuck in a tree, police said.

According to Kaski District Police Office spokesperson Subash Hamal, most of the dead had come to Pokhara from Kathmandu. The cause of the accident is still to be explored.
