UML task force update: Three members leave meeting venue



KATHMANDU: Three members of the CPN-UML dispute resolution task force have left the meeting venue amidst the ongoing meeting Sunday evening.

UML Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, who is also the Finance Minister, left Singha Durbar to participate in a program and is expected to return soon, said a member of the task force.

Ghanshyam Bhusal and Raghuji Pant, members of the task force from senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s side, have also left the meeting venue. Bhusal had also left the meeting for an hour in the afternoon to meet with leader Nepal.

The meeting of the task force has been going on at the Ministry of Finance at Singha Durbar since 9 am. Task force Coordinator Subash Nembang, Bhim Rawal and others are participating in the meeting.

The meeting of the UML Standing Committee convened for Sunday has been postponed till Monday.
