NEPSE goes green Sunday



KATHMANDU: With leaping surge in insurance group, the NEPSE index has gone green Sunday.

The share prices of both life insurance and non-life insurance subgroups rose sharply to boost the transaction.

NEPSE index shows that the life insurance group has increased by 487.2 points and non-life insurance group by 378.53 points.

Similarly, although there has been no significant increase as in insurance groups, the development bank subgroup has increased by 357.5 points.

According to NEPSE sources, finance group increased by 181.26, and banking group by 45.13.

Likewise, the trade group had the hike by 34.83, hydropower by 78.55, manufacturing by 96.4 and others by 9.0.
