Cultural expert Joshi admitted to KIST Hospital



KATHMANDU: Cultural expert Satya Mohan Joshi is undergoing treatment at KIST Hospital in Lalitpur.

He was admitted to the hospital on June 9 after his health condition became slightly unstable.

The hospital is treating Joshi for pneumonia infection diagnosed in his chest, the hospital said in a statement. “Currently, his respiration and heart rate are stable. He will be kept in the hospital for a few more days to continue with treatment,” the hospital statement read.

Meanwhile, Joshi’s has tested negative for COVID-19.

A joint team of cardiologists and critical care specialists led by Milesh Jung Sijapati is involved in Joshi’s treatment, according to KIST Hospital.
