Ambassador Kwatra hands over Indian Army-provided medical supplies to COAS Thapa



KATHMANDU:  Medical supplies provided by the Indian Army to the Nepal Army (NA) have arrived in the country.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinaya Mohan Kwatra handed over the supplies to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Purna Chandra Thapa at a function held at NA Headquarters in Bhadrakali Friday.

The Indian Army support is to enhance NA’s COVID-19 response and includes medical equipment, including ventilators, ICU beds, PPE sets and ambulances to the NA.

The Indian Army has provided the NA with supplies before as well.
