World Cup Qualifiers: Nepal taking on Australia today

KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Australia in a match under the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers 2022 and Asian Cup 2023.

The tournament will be held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait at 9:45 pm today.

Nepal has already lost its chance to reach the third stage of the World Cup Qualifiers. But it has still a chance to reach the third stage of the Asian Cup Qualifiers.

Australia which has already taken part in the World Cup five times wants to reach the third stage by defeating Nepal in today’s match.

Australia placed under Group ‘B’ is atop the points table with 18 points while Nepal is in the fourth place with six points.

Earlier, Nepal had defeated Chinese Taipei by 2-0 and lost to Jordan 3-0.
