EC makes public schedule for NA by-election in Lumbini Province



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission has approved the program for by-election for the vacant National Assembly seat from Lumbini Province Tuesday. The by-election in Lumbini is set for May 31.

As per the EC, voters’ list will be published on May 15 and final voters’ list will be published two days later after going through complaints. Likewise, the EC will register nomination papers of the candidates on May 18 and the final list of candidates will be published May 23.

The EC will also provide election symbols to final candidates on May 23.
