Adjustment of COVID-19 fatalities puts death toll at 4,084

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has adjusted the statistics of the COVID-19 fatalities.

The Ministry shared that 225 new fatalities were added to the existing death toll from the coronavirus infection.

With the adjustment, the COVID-19 fatalities caseload has reached 4,084.

Similarly, Nepal recorded a total of 9,483 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 2,788 persons in Kathmandu, 602 in Lalitpur, and 537 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 3,927 in past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 5,225 persons have returned home after complete health recovery from COVID-19.
