DANG: Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City has brought a 25-bed isolation hospital into operation for the treatment of corona virus-infected people.

The hospital constructed at Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-8, Ashwara, is now into operation from Monday night and received two Covid-19 patients on the first day of its service.

Mayor Ghanshyam Pandey said that the isolation ward was run in a building constructed for Tulasipur Metro Hospital.

He shared, “They brought the hospital into operation after completing the remaining construction works of the building.”

With this, it would be easier for the treatment of coronavirus patients at a time when serious patients are compelled to stay in home isolation for lack of space at Corona Special Hospital in Beljhundi.

A team of doctors comprising Dr Mahesh Kumar Khanal, Dr Devraj KC, Dr Shiva Subedi, Dr Madan BC and Dr Gokarna Dahal has been deputed, said Focal Person of the hospital Bimal KC.

The 25-bed hospital would be expanded to 50 beds soon, according to the Sub-Metropolitan City.
