KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gagan Thapa has requested outgoing Prime Minister KP Oli to save the lives of the patients from lack of oxygen.

In his video passage posted on social media wall on Tuesday, NC leader Thapa has urged PM Oli to take some substantive action to stop the oxygen shortage problem the country is likely to face soon.

“I have been receiving dozens of calls requesting for the oxygen support, when asked in the hospitals, they say they (the hospitals) are working at the optimum and are unable to work ahead,” lawmaker Thapa has said in his heart-touching video message, adding, “It’s likely to be very late if tried from COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee or Ministry level, so, beliving you can act if you want, I urge you to take action and save lives of people.”

Also a former Minister for Health and Population, leader Thapa has feared that the problem might go beyond everyone’s grip if the government does not take action on time.
