Teku Hospital shuts down PCR test service



KATHMANDU: The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) screening service has been shut down at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital.

The screening service has been closed for some days due to the lack of testing kits, said Dr Sagar Rajbhandari, the director of the hospital.

“The testing service has been shut down due to the lack of medical kits,” said Dr Rajbhandari, adding, “We will resume PCR test services once the kits arrive.”
