NC Prez Deuba calls three-party meeting to form new govt



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting with the opposition patry leaders to hold talks on the formation of a new government.

To be held at 2 pm in Deuba residence in Budhanilkantha, the top leaders of Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) will participate, a NC leader has said.

NC, as the main opposition, has intensified meetings after President Bidya Bhandari called on the political parties to form a new government in line with Article 76 (20) of the Constitution.
