KATHMANDU: A wide body airbus 330 of the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is flying back to Kathmandu carrying oxygen cylinders from Beijing today.

According to the schedule, the airbus, which had flown to Beijing on Monday night, will land at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 2:35 pm.

The airbus is bringing 400 oxygen cylinders, 110 oxygen concentrators and 10 ventilators in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population.

“The airbus will bring only 400 empty oxygen cylinders this time even though the government had said it would bring 20,000 oxygen cylinders from China,” said Karishma Shrestha, the spokesperson at the NAC.
