Kathmandu Mayor Cup: Army vs Bagmati, APF vs Kathmandu-11 today



KATHMANDU: Two games are taking place under the Kathmandu Mayor Cup one day national cricket tournament on Thursday.

Tribhuvan Army Club is taking on Bagmati Pradesh at TU Cricket Ground and Armed Police Force (APF) is locking horns with Kathmandu 11 at Mulpani Cricket Ground.

Winning the toss, Bagmati captained by Gyanendra Malla has elected to bat first against the Army.

Both Army and Bagmati are in third and fourth position with equal two points from three matches. Similarly, APF is in the second position with four points.

APF has invited Kathmandu-11 to bat first after winning the toss. If APF wins today’s match it will enter the final.  In case it loses the match, one of the four teams will enter the final based on the run rate.

Nepal police Club has already entered the final by inflicting a 103-run defeat on Kathmandu-11.
