Man held with Rs 3.7 million from undisclosed source



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man from Chandragiri Municipality-2, Naagdhunga on Monday morning along with Rs 3.7 million from an undisclosed source.

The arrested is Ram Kumar Gurung, 26, of Madi Municipality-6 in Chitwan.

According to police, a check of Rs 711,000 and a blank check signed by him were also recovered from Gurung’s possession.

The vehicle, Ba 3 Kha 9139, heading to Kathmandu from Chitwan was intercepted by the Metropolitan Police Section, Naagdhunga.

Police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
