PM Cup: Bagmati forms 25-member team including former captain Khadka



KATHMANDU: Bagmati Pradesh has formed a 25-member team comprising national team captain Gyanendra Malla and former capitan Paras Khadka for the Prime Minister Cup National Men’s Cricket Tournament.

Malla and Khadka had played in the previous edition of the cricket tournament representing Pradesh 3. The tournament is being held from January 15 to 30. The team had faced a defeat at the hands of Tribhuvan Army Club in the semi-final.

The names of 14 finalists will be announced after some days. Seven provinces and three departmental teams will participate in the Prime Minister Cup National Men’s Cricket Tournament.

The participating teams have been divided under A and B groups.

Tribhuvan Army Club, APF Club, Pradesh 1, Gandaki and Karnali Pradesh are in group ‘A’ while Nepal Police Club, Sudurpaschim, Lumbini and Pradesh 2 are in group ‘B’.

Bagmati will take on Nepal Police Club in the first match scheduled for January 17.
